The US has been in a predicament with the European Commission over their online gambling laws and it seems they may finally be coming to terms with the need to look at legalized online gambling. Susan Rice, the US Ambassador to the United Nations, made it known the US will work with the UN. Of course, the Bush administration scoffed at the idea. President Obama has been addressing issues other countries have with the United States and luckily, the online gambling issue, it appears, will be one of them. Two proposals have been offered and they lay the framework for legalizing and regulating online gambling which is the best news those that like to play poker and gamble online have heard since the UIGEA passage in 2006.
