Barney Frank has scheduled a hearing for December 3, 2009 in front of the United States House Financial Services Committee regarding online gambling. Though no vote is expected that day, there will be witness testimony both for and against the Internet Gambling Regulation, Consumer Protection and Enforcement Act and the Reasonable Prudence Regulation Act.
We can now cross our fingers and hope that things are finally going to shift around for United States players that want to safely and legally gamble online.
