Well, I personally haven't seen the changes we had been promised and I now see that there are many beginning to open their eyes to reality, no politician can be trusted no matter how good they look, sound or how they may hypnotize their audience into submission. The whole point of what I thought I saw people believing in is being proven a fairy tale and as many of us can see/feel, "change" has a variety of meanings and it appears the Obama administration had their own view of "change" opposing what the people whom voted for Obama were told.
As the truth continues to unfold in its scary obviousness, people such as Steve Wynn of Wynn Resorts are becoming more vocal about the rhetoric given by President Obama and claims a loss at his business due to the remarks Obama has made about Vegas. In a conference call, Wynn stated, "Right now we are more afraid of Washington than we are of the economy. We've got people on our backs saying don't go to Las Vegas which is preposterous," Wynn said. "People are beginning to ignore some of this bombastic rhetoric from the White House and that's encouraging."
"In America, we have a government that has decided anybody who creates jobs must be bad; that the job creators must have a target on their back. What a remarkable misunderstanding," Wynn said. "That's not the case in Macau and it's not the case in The People's Republic of China and maybe we can all learn a lesson on what happens there."
Wynn was also critical of President Obama’s health care proposal, calling the plan a "train wreck."
A dangerous American is an American that feels the "party" is all that matters, not the views of those in the "parties". Sickeningly, the worst part of American politics is that so many vote based on that "party" and not what the politician stands for, associates with and votes for (not that it would necessarily help much since the corruption couldn't really run deeper than it already does).

Poker Players Alliance Petition UIGEA
The UIGEA laws are to be implemented into effect on December 1, 2009 and the Poker Players Alliance are attempting to delay the date with a petition to US Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner. They have asked that the date be pushed back by one year to December 1, 2010. The UIGEA provisions are referring to banks and designated payment systems that will be required to block the movement of funds in and out of online poker sites.

Illinois Approves Online Horse Betting
The Illinois Racing Board has given permission to three web sites to begin accepting bets on horse racing. Gamblers can now place bets from home by phone, web site, interactive television and mobile devices. Wagers were previously only allowed at horse tracks or off-track betting parlors which have seen a steady decline in recent years.
The state will apply a 1.75% tax on each transaction which is estimated to bring in at least $1 million in revenue to Illinois per year. The remainder will be divided among track owners and horsemen in the form of increased purses.

An Opinion About the Cons of Gambling
I am consistently hearing about how gambling is a trap for the poor, promising them a get rich quick opportunity that sinks them further into debt. The thing is, rich or poor, stupidity and/or addiction happens. How many of those against gambling are for alcohol? The trap of a casual drink after dinner to relax has brought many to their knees with alcoholism, yet we know making it illegal does not help the problem. There are those of us that do not drink yet we like to play poker or slots and smoke our cigarettes and have to continue hearing the cons of gambling and how even smoking outside is damaging to others (conveniently leaving out how "healthy" the air is outside) which is quite hypocritical considering how many of those opponents are drinkers that risk taking our lives by getting into their cars after a night out. Perhaps I would prefer to play my slots, smoke my cigarettes and not have to listen to the jumbled attempted conversation of alcoholics that only those drinking can comprehend. I'm not saying I am against a couple of drinks, but let's face it, the judgements are coming down hard right now on gamblers and if we are going to judge, then the judgements should be passed around fairly. When it is a religiously based opinion about gambling etc., well, don't even get me started.

Barney Frank has Sixty Co-Sponsors
The bill Barney Frank proposed a few months ago has now hit sixty co-sponsors.
Frank and eighteen other bipartisan lawmakers sent a letter to Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernake and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, urging for the delay of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act rules.
The rules are set to go into effect on December 1st, but the lawmakers believe that financial institutions have enough to worry about with the economy. These lawmakers are looking to delay the law from taking effect by one year, that would give them the time necessary to overturn the UIGEA.
Congressman Thompson from the Second District of Mississippi became the 59th co-sponsor last week and Representative Smith became the sixtieth co-sponsor, a historic milestone. Smith is from the Ninth District of Washington. The sixty co-sponsors are comprised of representatives from both the Republican and Democratic parties. Many Senators have also come out in recent months in favor of a change in the US' online gambling laws.

7) Bingo Pays The Bills
At the end of each month, three lucky players can have their water, gas
and electricity bills paid! Every time players buy a card in each of the
"water", "gas" and "electricity" pattern games, they receive one ticket
into the month-end draw. And every time they win that game they get an
extra ticket into the draw. At the end of the month there will be a
random draw with three winners, one for each bill, and once the winners
have been contacted by Fab, the player must simply send in the relevant
bill for the month just gone and it will be paid by Fab! Note: Maximum
monthly payment for any individual bill is £100. If bills are paid
quarterly then a quarter of the previous quarterly bill will be paid.
